OFFICIAL TOWN BALADEERS OF GILBERT ARIZONA!

By special proclamation, Pioneer Pepper and the Sunset Pioneers, a singing cowboy band from central Arizona, was named the official Balladeers of the Town of Gilbert, Arizona. Mayor Steve Berman and the town council presented teh award at the a meeting of the Town Counsil on September 7, 2004.

For over ten years Pionner Pepper and the Sunset Pioneers have been keeping the memories of that great era of the singing cowboy alive. Their live stage shows are a hit with young and old – a real “family” show. From the hits of Roy Rogers, Suns of the Pioneers, and Gene Autry, to the side splitting antics of cahracters like “Lil Hoss”, “Slim”, and “Doc Bellows”, to cowboy poetry, Pionner Pepper and teh Sunset Pioneers will take you on a musical journey through yesteryear that you will not soon forget.

WHEREAS, the Gilbert Promotional Corporation and Town of Gilbert hosted Gilbert’s Old Fashioned 4th of July on July 4, 2004;

WHEREAS, Pioneer Pepper & the Sunset Pioneers provided entertainment to the community at Gilbert’s Old Fashioned 4th of July; and

WHEREAS, the music of Pioneer Pepper & the Sunset Pioneers takes you back to the days off he singing cowboys, a time in music that still remains in the hearts of young and old alike;

WHEREAS, the residents of Gilbert expressed overwhelming approval of Pioneer Pepper and the Sunset Pioneers at the Gilbert’s Old Fashioned 4th of July.

WHEREAS, Pioneer Pepper & the Sunset Pioneers are the greatest, funniest, best cowboy show around; and

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Steven M, Berman, Mayor of the Town of Gilbert do hereby proclaim Pioneer Pepper & the Sunset Pioneers as the official balladeers of the Town of Gilbert.
